In case you were wondering who's responsible for this thing . . .
Michele is a 40-something lover of Pinot Grigio, good Mexican food and desserts of the chocolate variety. She has a long history of over-analyzing and over-achieving, broken only by bouts of self-pity and lethargy. She hates flan, hypocrisy and male back hair with equal vigor. She loves her husband, her two teenage daughters, her friends and leaping tall buildings in a single bound.
Second Life is helping Michele to find her inner artist, recover from the “Mean Girls” experiences of 7th grade, and do what she loves to most--share interesting stuff and experiences with other people and give her opinion on life.
Jann is a 50 something Southern woman. In her twenties and thirties, she held firmly to the Southern tradition of picking the wrong men to love (repeatedly, but she will tell you it was never dull) followed by a serious bout of workaholism in her forties. In her fifties (just started) she is a recovering workaholic looking for a second life. She likes to say she's 6 months sober from believing work was the answer and is spending at least some time each day "in the moment." She learning to say "no" to other people's expectations while developing her own. She also over-analyzes and has bouts of self-love or self-hate that she thinks balance each other out. She loves any fried food (Southern tradition), good friends and laughing a lot ( a rediscovered art from her childhood).
Hi there,
I’m writing a story on Calvin Klein’s newest scent launching in Second Life – do you know anything about it? How it’s being received, if it’s bought or given out for free, if people are using it?
Any insight you can provide (since I’m not an SL user) would be great.
Thanks,
