This idea is something that is useful for technology skills within an organization or a community of practice - like the "Just in time" support networks out there.

I definitely agree about the usefulness of this approach for technology skills, Beth. I checked out the Telecentre site and they seem to be moving in this direction. I'm not a member, so I wasn't able to see if the community profiles included information on skills that people possess, though.

I think it would be an interesting addition to the NTen community site to add tagging as a way to share functional skill areas and find people you needed based on skills and knowledge.
